I am kidding, of course. Thank you for taking the effort to land on this page. Most people avoid these pages, and assume it is some ego trip, boasting about ones over achievements, holder of many not-so-important certifications, alumni extraordinaire (my personal favourite), professional member of the [insert niche and meaningful organisation name here]. I mean, if you are here now, and that's what you expected, I don't what to tell you, friend... I'm just your average thirty-something year old from down under who enjoys creative writing, great music, bushwalking and programming.
I write speculative sci-fi, grounded by science. It's what I enjoy most. I am technology-centric, and as an early end millennial, born in 1991, I grew up with new and emerging tech. Always tinkering, getting into the nitty gritty of how stuff worked. And, I have a passion for knowledge. I always want to understand how something, I guess - is - and absorb it. That is why I love science-based fiction. There is always factual science with a bit of hypothetical, and sometimes obscure hypothetical, but still real enough to feel probable.
The best word to describe the common themes between narratives: Tech Doom.
I live on Dharawal Country, in the gorgeous Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. With the stunning coastline and beaches along one edge, meeting Lake Illawarra in the centre of the region. The grassy plains in the southern end of the region, meet the towering escarpment on its western edge. It is a wonderful part of the state. There are many things to do and explore. I spend my outdoors time walking through the many rainforests and walking tracks the escarpment has to offer.

I have a huge interest in tech. My first significant exposure to computers was when my uncle had brought us over our first family PC. He used to build them for family and friends, and I thought it was awesome that was even possible. So, my mum bought me a book on PCs, where I started to get into the real foundations of how it works. Of course, being only eight at the time, it was just a kids book, but albeit, I enjoyed the read.
I do the occasional gaming, which consists of mostly Halo, Clone Hero and some party slash board games with friends (Jackbox, Cluedo, UNO). I used to game a lot back in the day during my high school years. I'd get home at 3pm, jump on Halo, and play until my mum would rush down the stairs at 2am, barge through the door and I'd fake being asleep. This was a regular occurrence, mind you.
I enjoy programming in Python. I've created a few projects, and one I am most proud of is the Mood Tracker. I created this to keep track of … well ... my mood. As someone living with Bipolar, I found other apps didn't quite have what I needed, or where a little too bloated for what I was after. Now I use it in conjunction with a smartphone app to track mood and sleep. I am planning to add a sleep tracking feature which will incorporate a Raspberry Pi, and a custom made wearable with an accelerometer and PPG.

Note: If you aren't familar with code, this is probably going to look like gobbledygook.

I live and breathe music and I believe our shaded world would be much darker without it. I spend at least four hours a day listening to a wide array of wonderful albums. I appreciate most genres, but a few that resonate with me most are progressive metal, psychedelic rock, psych and garage. I'd say my top prog-metal band is Caligula's Horse, and favourite album of theirs is Bloom, though Charcoal Grace comes in close second. Among others Karnivool ranks second with my favourite album being Themata, followed by TesseracT, then the lesser known Circles. For the psych slash garage / punky area, my top would be Frankie and the Witch Fingers, and my favourite album of theirs would be Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters. Then the album Data Doom is my close second. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is top overall for me, with (wait for it, because it is a mouthful) PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation my favourite album. It is thrashy as hell. I love it. I also enjoy Babe Rainbow, Jack Harlon & the Dead Crows, Liminal, and Earth Tongue.
